The website I chose was DIY Photography. The website’s intention is to get more people involved and interested in photography. They write about the news of photography, like what’s happening and what new cameras are coming out. They also have a spot where they give inspiration on what to do in specific situations and tips on taking better photos. They have reviews on cameras and tripods. There are tutorials to photoshop photos. There’s also stuff on how to make DIY equipment. An average viewer would see the website and see what was the best gear, how to DIY equipment, and how to make your photos better. I would add this website to my bookmarks. I would recommend this website to other photographers and to people that want to learn more about photography. I would rate the website a 3 because it gives you good information about specific topics in photography but also the website is bland when you look at it. The background is all white with a blue header.

A selfie is ' a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and shared via social media'. To put it in my own words, a selfie is someone taking a picture of themselves using a phone camera and posting on social media. A self-portrait is ' a portrait that an artist produces of themselves'. I would say a self-portrait is a picture an artist makes of themselves. So in other words, a selfie is like an informal self-portrait. There is a difference between selfies and self-portraits. The first difference is shown by their definition. The second difference is that self-portraits show more artistic value and emotion. Selfies show what you're or who you're with at a specific time. The third difference is self-portraits can be painted, drawn, or digitally done. Selfies are only digital.  The style I prefer more are self-portraits. I'm going to have her in a box yelling and having her hands on the box on either side of her. I'll have the top of the box a little bit open to let some light in. Another would be her in a closet sitting on the floor with her knees to her chest. My last idea would be her scratching a door to get out of a confined space. 1. What was the best song of 2018? The best song was SAD! by XXXTENTACION. I chose this song because he sings about how sad he is that his relationship ended. I think it's something that a lot of people can connect to. He also says how much pain he's in while he's in love. I think it was the best because it's something I can connect to more than the other songs. 2. What was the best movie of 2018? The best movie was Instant Family. I chose this one because it was based on a true story of a family that adopted children. It shows all the hardships and good moments they went through when first fostering the kids. I can also relate to the movie, since I was adopted. This was the best movie because I could put myself in the character's shoes and know what they went through since I went through some of it too. 3. What was the most important news story of the year? I liked this photo because it had to do with soccer andyou can see Cristiano Ronaldo in the middle of doing a bicycle kick.  I liked this photo because you can see near the bottom of the photo there's some light that made a glare when it mixed with the water. I liked this photo because of how it frames Stephen Colbert and Cookie Monster and I also found it cute and funny.
