1. Why did you pick this image? What caught your eye? I picked this image because when I first saw the photo, it looked like the members of The Beatles having a pillow fight and laughing. What caught my eye was that when I was looking through so many photos that were depressing and sad, this one was happy and funny. 2. 1. Why did you pick this image? What caught your eye? I picked this image because it looked moving. What caught my eye were the 2 black men holding their fists up. 2. What did you read about the photo and use about 2-3 sentences explaining the photo. The 2 men holding up their fist are American sprinters Tommie Smith and John Carlos. Dominis quickly zoomed in on them and took the shot. Smith and Carlos wanted to show that everything wasn't alright. You can see how Smith took off his shoes showing off black socks. 1. Why did you pick this image? What caught your eye? I picked this image because it made me horrified and upset by the scene. What caught my eye was the fire then seeing the man in it. 2. What did you read about the photo and use about 2-3 sentences explaining the photo. The Mo nk, Thich Quang Duc, doused himself in gasoline and sat lotus style while being engulfed by fire. Browne got there before it happened, hearing it from President   Ngo Dinh Diem. In the photo, there's flame and smoke going up around the Monk. Everyone else is standing back watching the scene unfold in front of them. 3. Every photo has some additional information, links, readings, or videos associated.
