Muhammad Ali vs Sonny Liston by Neil Leifer in 1965

1. Why did you pick this image? What caught your eye?
I picked this image because it was the very first photo I saw that was in color out of the whole album so far. What caught my eye was Muhammad Ali standing over another man.
2. What did you read about the photo and use about 2-3 sentences explaining the photo.
The photo was taken in Lewiston Maine. Ali was 23 years old and Liston was 34 years old. In the photo you can see Ali standing over Liston, yelling. You can also see how sweaty they are from the light shining on both of them.
3. Every photo has some additional information, links, readings, or videos associated. What else did you learn in addition to the actual photo?

Leifer saw it would be a good shot and took it. He didn't hesitate to take the photo. Also, with all the different elements he knew it would be a great photo.
